Abstract

CoVID-19 pandemic created disorder in our daily life and force to change the life style of people. In that one of the major problem is children’s problems that affected much more on children’s education. Health is more important than anything but education is also important and essential. In this pandemic period there is no chance of offline class. Covid-19 is spreading so fast and keeping physical distance and wearing marks is only the solution. In this situation opening schools is so difficult and risky job. For primary students its very tough to mange social distance keep them wear masks. Parents facing difficulty in managing their children’s and also thinking of their future. Keeping this situation in mind this survey conducted on parents about online classes for students. This survey conducted on Primary School going student’s parents in Shimoga city Karnataka state. Study universe of this study limited to Podar International School in Shimoga. Through the simple stratified random sampling method data collected through objective type questionnaire and their opinions about conducting online class. The main intension of the study is to know the advantages and disadvantages of online class to primary students. Primary students have no idea to use and operate such devices that used to conduct online classes. Students of primary school don’t have much knowledge to operate and all the pressure will be on parents. Many of the parents have some difficulties in providing such facilities to their children’s. These are the objectives taken to collect opinion of parents on conduction online classes to their primary school children’s. 1. To know the opinion of parents about online class conducting to primary students. 2. To know the advantages and disadvantages of the online class.
