Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last five decades. MSMEs not only play crucial role in providing large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries but also help in industrialization of rural & backward areas, thereby, reducing regional imbalances, assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth. Start-up India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, intended to build a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation and Start-ups in the country that will drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. The research was conducted to know the start-up and its impact on MSME in India. The objective of the study was to know the start-up of entrepreneurs and their activities, to know the prominent source of financing and problems faced by entrepreneurs. Descriptive research design was used in this study and primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and 100 respondents were taken for the study. Secondary data collected through internet, annual report, research papers. The overall study reveals that there is a good scope for entrepreneur.
