Factors Affecting English Capacity of Non-English Students at Dong Nai Technology University

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find out the factors that affect English capacity of students in non-English major at Dong Nai Technology University. The study investigated 45 students at Dong Nai Technology University with a survey questionnaire. The findings show that there are some reasons affect students’ capacity of learning English: as self-study, time management, motivation and attitude of learning. The author also gives some suggestions about the entrance standard, increasing the periods to learn English, especially listening skill.
