Abstract

E-Waste use is a partial solution to environmental and ecological concerns. The use of these materials not only helps to get them used in cement, concrete, and other building materials, but it also helps to minimize the cost of cement and concrete production. Fly ash, a waste product or by-product from thermal plants, may be used to partially replace cement in concrete, minimizing the risk of pollution. This project compares the use of e-plastic waste material as a coarse aggregate substitute for 5%, 10%, and 15% of M20 grade concrete, and fly ash as a cement replacement for 20% of M20 grade concrete. Different percentages of e-waste content and fly ash are compared to conventional concrete in terms of compressive and flexural strength.
