Abstract

Detection of both localized and distributed categories of defect are considered. In experiments, Faults are introduced on the races and surfaces of test bearings through machining. These bearings are loaded using an electro-mechanical shaker. Results of defects simulation and model behavior in statics and dynamics are calculated and compared.
