Abstract

Employee State Insurance (ESI) Scheme is significant social security. It is different from other types of insurance like Health insurance and it provides the full amount for medical bills irrespective of the premium amount. The main aim of this research is to understand the awareness and benefits of the ESI act among employees. The study is descriptive. The objective of the study is to understand the awareness of the ESI act among employees and to identify the level of employee satisfaction with regard to the benefits. The sample size is 100. The sampling method used for this study is simple random sampling. The data has been collected through a well-structured questionnaire and has been analyzed with the help of SPSS software. Frequency, Correlation and Chi-Square tools have been used to analyze the data.
