Abstract

Large Language Models (LLMs) have emerged as powerful tools in the realm of cybersecurity, enabling advancements in areas such as threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and security automation. This review provides an in-depth analysis of LLM applications in cybersecurity, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges associated with their deployment. The paper addresses issues related to bias, interpretability, and adversarial robustness while proposing future research directions. Drawing on a comprehensive set of references, the review underscores the transformative potential of LLMs in enhancing cybersecurity practices.
