Leveraging Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for Optimizing Medicaid Systems
Abstract
Medicaid systems face increasing challenges in providing efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality care to millions of beneficiaries. Data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) offer transformative potential to optimize operations, improve patient outcomes, and enhance decision-making. This paper explores the integration of AI and data analytics in Medicaid systems, focusing on predictive analytics, data quality, interoperability, workforce training, and data-driven decision-making. By leveraging emerging technologies, Medicaid programs can achieve better resource allocation, fraud detection, personalized care, and operational efficiency.
