Abstract

Cixin Liu’s Novel ‘The Three-Body Problem’ has future predictions against all the world religions and ideologies apart from the scientific worldview. Experimental data from science about our observable universe may lead the youth generation towards Nihilism. Traditional moral values that youths learn from their cultures can be affected due to the influence of the scientific worldview. This research uses qualitative methodology. Content analysis is ensured for Cixin Liu’s novel, ‘The Three-Body Problem’ to understand the potential mental and spiritual crisis among youths due to the influence of the scientific worldview. This research finds that despite having challenges from different religions and ideologies, the scientific worldview has its foundation to refute all religious and ideological deliberations. This research also tries to formulate Islamic responses to encounter the scientific worldview that surfaces from Cixin Liu’s unique masterpiece work. This article urges to be promising for youths of the 21st century as they face different ideological challenges.
