Abstract

Copper oxide is a material that is of great importance for electrochemical performance because of its low cost and highly chemically stable nature. It is widely used for pseudocapacitive applications. The requirement for energy increases day by day. To fulfil the needs, we need to develop an energy storage device as well as an energy converter device. This review summarises the different synthesis methods of low-cost copper oxide thin film. The good result obtained by using a particular synthesis method was also discussed.
