Abstract

This scientific paper focuses on the establishment of the Smriti Upvan Green Campus at AIIMS Bhopal, highlighting the steps taken to transform the campus into an environmentally sustainable and eco-friendly institution. The paper discusses various initiatives undertaken, including rainwater harvesting, waste management, wastewater treatment, green infrastructure development, promotion of green cover, achieving zero-waste status, and the adoption of renewable energy sources. These measures address water scarcity concerns, manage organic waste, conserve water resources, enhance transportation systems, promote biodiversity, and reduce energy consumption. The successful implementation of these steps showcases the commitment of AIIMS Bhopal toward creating a sustainable and green campus.
