Abstract

This paper is intended as a review of current research and understanding the application of nanotechnology for medical treatments, with special reference to Cervical Cancer. It also uses pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling, which integrates system data with drug/nanoparticle in-vitro data and based on this simulation tries to identify the effective material for nanoparticles to be involved in the targeted delivery of Avastin to cervical cancer cells. The author is a higher secondary school student and this research was carried out as part of the academic project work.
