Abstract

An extreme rise in food waste has been seen now a days. As the data given by FAO (food and agriculture organization) 1/3rd amount of food has been wasted global wide i.e., 1.3 billion tons of food has been wasted every year. In order to reduce the food wastage, we came up with a solution and this solution can manage the food in useful ways .so, we can reduce food wastage with the help of an android application. If anyone has huge amount of waste food, they can raise the request or can post a message. And that message will give the information about available food, location information and also, they will also provide your registered number to the nearest food donators. As we know that this is an android application, we can easily collect the waste food from hotels and restaurants and we can distribute that food to the needy people. So, by implementing this application we can reduce the food wastage and we can help the needy people by providing the food.
