Abstract

Islam religion is generally alleged to be responsible for the degrade status of women in Islamic society. This paper is a sincere attempt to show that the real Islamic teaching i.e., the teaching of Qur’an and Hādith is not responsible for the degraded and inferior status of the Islamic women, rather it is the lack of the practice of the teaching of the Qur’an and Hādith on the one hand and the practice of the teaching of the ideology of the philosophy of Plato and Aristotle on the other hand led to the degraded and inferior status of women.
